Bonefish Paradise ....
This remarkable place exists
on the isolated southern tip of one of the largest tracks of unexplored land
in our hemisphere South Andros Island, Bahamas. Reef Fishing . For a change of pace, anglers can opt to drop anchor and enjoy superb fishing for jacks, big snappers, grouper and other species along the reefs near one of the Caribbeans most amazing geological features The Tongue of the Ocean a 100-mile long, 6000-foot deep rift in the ocean floor (one mile from the Lodge).
Bonefish thrive all year round on South Andros, however there are particular months to avoid due to seasonal high winds. March through July, and October through December are the best times for good sighting and casting conditions, with June 30 - September 30 the "off season" due to warmer waters. When windy conditions prevail, fishing can be done in the protected bights and tidal lakes. Our Beach.... Kemps Bay Club is located on a beautiful white sandy beach (the best in South Andros) with pristine waters and great beachcombing. You can kayak the bay in our Malibu Ocean kayaks, swim in the calm turquoise ocean or practice your casting skills on arrival at the lodge. Weather and Seasons South Andros has a delightful sub-tropical climate with warm days and cool nights. Evenings are always pleasant, with sea breezes cooled by the deep water just offshore from The Tongue of the Ocean.
